mobile preview was off by 12px. found a mystery margin from the ancient times and yeeted it. looks normal now.
A quick portfolio builder for independent designers.
The milestones that explain how the project has evolved.
The project started with a simple need: A quick portfolio builder for independent designers.
The first build kept Folio Lane focused on one useful workflow before adding broader tooling.
The editor went from a blank canvas to three starter layouts. Testers finished faster once the first project card was already on the page.
Image cropping and mobile previews are in the first release. The preview now stays close to the published page instead of being another design surface.
Public updates from the builder about this project.

Next up: paste in plain text. Folks have work bios in Notes, docs, a cursed old spreadsheet... all valid tbh.
Portfolio tools should just get outta the way. ditched the whole 'pick a theme first' thing and yep, the editor feels lighter.
let 3 designers loose in the editor w/ zero walkthrough. two published in ten minutes. i'm calling that a win and going for lunch.
image reordering is on the test build. one thumb, no tiny drag handles, no swearing at your phone. progress.
Help Folio Lane learn from real people.
Add one project and preview the page on mobile. What slowed you down, and what felt easier than expected?
