quick win: client threads remember the last actually useful note now. even my own inbox is less of a crime scene.
A tidy client inbox for independent consultants.
The milestones that explain how the project has evolved.
The project started with a simple need: A tidy client inbox for independent consultants.
The first build kept Mieux Mail focused on one useful workflow before adding broader tooling.
The first inbox view worked, but asking consultants to forward messages felt like too much setup. The prototype now starts with a sample client thread.
A small pilot showed the shared queue was useful but not urgent enough to replace existing email habits. The team paused new features and spoke with users before spending more time.
After a few small pilots, it was clear that the pain was real but not strong enough to make people move their email habits. I am winding Mieux Mail down and keeping the notes for a future project with a sharper use case.
