The project started with a simple need: A quick portfolio builder for independent designers.
The first build kept Folio Lane focused on one useful workflow before adding broader tooling.
The editor went from a blank canvas to three starter layouts. Testers finished faster once the first project card was already on the page.
Image cropping and mobile previews are in the first release. The preview now stays close to the published page instead of being another design surface.
